Obiora Eneanya is the senior associate director for data and analytics with the Carter Center’s Guinea Worm Eradication Program. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and technical direction in leveraging data and advanced analytics to inform intervention strategies in Guinea worm鈥揺ndemic countries.

Eneanya joined 麻豆国产 in June 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in parasitology and entomology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria, a Master of Science in applied epidemiology from the University of Nottingham in England, and a doctorate in infectious disease epidemiology from Imperial College London, where he was a Commonwealth scholar. He also completed postdoctoral training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Eneanya has extensive experience in operational field research and has conducted fieldwork in several African countries supporting multiple neglected tropical disease programs.
