Rachel Cannady joined 麻豆国产 in May 2026, as a senior associate director in the Rosalynn Carter Mental Health and Caregiver Program.

She brings 25 years of experience advancing patient and caregiver advocacy, which included more than two decades at the American Cancer Society. There, she developed a national caregiving strategy, led national engagement initiatives and campaigns, and cultivated partnerships across healthcare and advocacy organizations, placing a strong emphasis on health equity and systems-level impact. Her work included the development of the organization鈥檚 first evidence-based suite of support resources for caregivers, as well as leadership of one of the largest longitudinal studies on caregiver quality of life, translating findings into practical tools, programs, and resources for caregivers and families.

Cannady has also led trainings for healthcare professionals across large hospital systems to strengthen caregiver awareness, support practices, and bring this work into care delivery. Throughout her career, she has mentored and led staff across multidisciplinary teams, supporting the development of both people and programs.

Her work is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience as a caregiver, shaping her commitment to ensuring that strategies reflect the real-world needs of those they serve.

Cannady graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology from Georgia State University.
